Learn the Basics of Sea Kayaking; Beginners half day, water based coaching with paddling strokes you need & a dependable assisted recovery.

Interested in beginning to Sea Kayak?
Want to learn how to control and manage a sea kayak confidently on the water?
You will learn to;
- Forward paddle with trunk rotation.
- Effective static turns, left & right.
- Edging & leaning & the effect on your kayak.
- Emergency stop.
- Paddling backward with steering.
Two hours of coaching on the water, teaching the essential strokes to control & manage your kayak. Plus thirty minutes of bank coaching. You'll leave enthused & excited to get started.
And if you upgrade & do the Bank Based Session, you'll benefit from a 50% discount on your touring kayak (including spraydeck, paddle & buoyancy aid).
Duration: 2 hrs. + 30mins Prep. Distance: +/- 1nm. Group Size: 8. Coach Ratio: 4:1. Skill Level: Complete Beginner. Fitness: Basic. Age: 16+

Toilets are available on site - please enter through the main gate & take a ticket. Follow the road towards the water & turn left into the carpark. You will see our kayak trailer & vehicle at the front of the carpark, nearest the water.
Please bring along a fold-up chair or blanket for your comfort. Picnic tables are available.
