Our beloved media continue to blast the airwaves with an onslaught of negative stories in their never ending desperation to sell their rags. As we know, through hard experience, this becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. The more we talk up negativity, the more of a reality it becomes. Of course, we have noticed the price increases almost across the board; from alcohol to basic foods, clothing and utilities as well as the huge hike in fuel prices worldwide.

However, and here's the rub, fuel prices fell by nearly 12 pence a litre in May and continues to fall. And inflation is set to drop steadily over the next year. Let's face it, the United Kingdom remains one of the richest countries with more billionaires than any other country in the world.
